ALL election should have a fixed term and compulsive voting?

Unread postby Max ADU » Sat Mar 09, 2013 3:32 pm

This poll was asked by Joe-NSW

Elections are won on lose by votes.

Should voting be done by people who care or by people forced to vote because the do not want to pay the fine for not voting.

Also should election be on a set date eg every 4 years and 2nd Saturday in October

I would like to know what people thing of the idea?

I think it should be still compulsive and a fix term.. But you can get the pollies would not go for it.

Why do you think Gillard called an election so early... she hoping the polls will change in her favour... fat chance.

But I am surprised that so many lookers and cannot take the time to put a few ticks in a box.

That typical Aussies to lazy to scratch their own behind. That why we have useless governments. :x

Joe, I hear what you are saying but I don't think Australians are lazy. I believe they think it hopeless and have no power to change things.

They have to much other things on their mind... surviving, paying bills being 24hr a day on their mobiles, Facebook and not realizing they have to be active in what is happening in Australia.

Australian are not like Americans where they are very vocal, when government does something that not popular with the people.

Our Government Tell us lies, do what they like, collect a huge pension and really don't care what we want or think..... and until we change, do not expect anything to change..
